Technology We at Chigwell Cars Limited, are very proud of our latest state of the arts computer system. Towards the end of 2004, we invested heavily with Cordic for a very sophisticated computer system. Data Despatch This allows us to transmit job information directly to the driver via his/her xda screen. With this system the normal radio interchange between driver and base is eliminated. Allowing a more peaceful journey for the passenger. |

This allows our office staff to inform the passenger when the taxi at the pick up point. The system also enables our office staff to contact passengers on their mobiles. This being useful for pick ups at theatres, restaurants, public houses etc. |

GPS System This is a system which we are very proud of. This enables us to know where any taxi is at any given time of the journey, or on its way to a collection point. Which we feel not only contributes to the passengers assurance and benefit, but helps in the smooth and efficient running of the office. |
Web Booking
As
mentioned earlier this is something we hope to bring into use in the very near
future. This will enable account customers to book journeys on line, and also
